Seeking individuals to work within a global team to deliver a next generation Trading and Risk Management platform. The new platform will utilize state of the art technology that will provide rapid response to new business initiatives with world class risk management and reporting capabilities thereby directly contributing to the business’ profitability. Specific goals are to deliver a high-performance risk engine that provides pricing and risk management, using real time trade and market data.
The group is looking for a developer to join a dynamic team of developers who are currently working on this platform. The position offers the candidate the opportunity to work in a fast paced and results oriented environment supporting the data requirements of trading and risk management applications. Aside from the job requirements below, a successful candidate must be energetic, team-oriented, intelligent, and disciplined.
The candidate must be an expert .Net programmer and have experience working with and building Enterprise systems. The candidate must have the ability to collaborate in the creation of a high-level system design and then oversee its execution. The individual must be able to understand both tactical and strategic development and business goals and translate them into concrete development plans. Directly managing a team of software engineers, the candidate must be capable of contributing as a developer as well as a team leader and understand how to lead by example.
Be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle from analysis and specification through to design, development, testing and deployment.
Be familiar with state-of-the-art software development methodologies.
Liaise with production support staff.
Deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
Keep colleagues informed of developments; work collaboratively.
Hire and mentor team members.
Minimum Requirements :
Strong object oriented analysis and design skills. Expertise in utilizing OO analysis techniques via patterns in actual development efforts. Must be fluent in sequence, collaboration, and deployment diagrams in UML notation. Must be capable of explaining solutions via these diagrams and patterns.
Expert level knowledge of the .Net platform (C#). Experience developing enterprise applications and frameworks.
Expert on GUI design using .Net(C#), knowledge of MVC and MVP.
Strong knowledge of Windows Forms (WinForms) and Office Applications development.
Experience working with UI's that support real time data display.
Experience developing and supporting global trading or risk systems in the area of interest rate or credit derivatives for the front or middle office. Knowledge of fixed income securities or derivatives finance desirable.
