Job Description
|
The Information Technology Division (ITD) is searching for a Web Infrastructure Administrator to guide both the development team and management through the implementation process of the web infrastructure. The Web Infrastructure Administrator will work closely with the Application Development customers within ITD as well as external customers in order to understand and address their business needs and to foresee and resolve any potential conflicts with business rules before deploying a new infrastructure. Must have a comprehensive understanding of OS, web application integration and configuration, internet/intranet design and support fundamentals, and internet security.
Guide the design, development and deployment of web-based infrastructure to support web-based applications and services Provide mentoring to the application development team in the use of coding and quality standards that result in efficient and reliable web infrastructure operations. Predicts and escalates potential problems with appropriate solutions to management. Provide analysis and capacity planning for the web-based infrastructure. Provide advanced trouble-shooting and problem-resolution for complex technical system problems. Provide excllent customer support and service skills
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of three years working experience with enterprise web infrastructure design and support. Experience/skills in the following technologies are desired: Microsoft IIS/.NET architecture, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Cluster, ASP/ASP.NET. Experience with multi-tasking in a fast paced work environment.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
MCSE, MCSD, AND CIW certifications are preferred.
