Network Help Desk for Consumer firm-Industry Leader
North Central NJ client seeks help desk/support agents for a high-volume/busy NETWORK SUPPORT desk using an ACD phone system setup-tracking calls, duration volume, drop-off etc.
Work is Tech support phone/email work supporting national offices & branches of the above companies.
Support/Help desk agents may resolve issues such as:
-password issues,
-Local vs Global/Network printing problems,
-Remote Access {RAS-VPN}
-log-ins, IDs, Access issues, etc for more difficult issues you will escalate calls to the appropriate group (WEB team, Network admins, etc).
- Support multiple domains consisting of approximately 40,000+ end users.
- Reset end user passwords for network and proprietary applications
- Provide timely, courteous telephone and email support to users on a variety of software applications (MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet Explorer, etc
- Support proprietary applications.
- Record call information/diagnosis, resolution, etc in REMEDY ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues including single workstation, printers, entire site/branch, or application using Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection, VNC Viewer, or Microsoft Netmeeting.
- Handle severity one issues as required including WAN/LAN troubleshooting.
- Ability to multi-task necessary in this high call volume environment,
- Need ability to update help desk database.
- Support Network peripherals-printers, etc;
- Resolve issues with OUTLOOK (key), MS Office, Web tools-Internet Explorer, Windows 95/98/2000/NT/Xp, MacAfee Antivirus, Exchange
- Help desk ticket system exp necessary, (They use Remedy, will consider Support Logix, Magic, etc exp) HEAT a big plus
- Html a plus as support is also web based.
- Crystal Reports exposure/experience a big plus.

- Please let us know if Parsippany is a realistic commute for you.
- These are right to hire jobs meaning 1st three months++(or longer) are contract at 17-20/hr
(+ time & a half for approved OverTime (up to 30/hr for OT))
then as soon as possible thereafter you may go fulltime with client at up to 45k or thereabouts as your skills and performance merit.
- The team covers hours anywhere from 7 am to 12 pm (within those parameters)
-starting hours are 10-7pm, then may rotate to 7am, 8am, 9am, 12pm-9pm,1-10pm, etc possible weekend shifts on a rotation
- We do Not charge a fee when you go fulltime so it works well for you and the client
