we are seeking for an Infrastructure Architect for a 6 month contract in Plymouth, MN
The client designs and implements superior travel management programs for clients based upon its recognized consulting expertise, strong purchasing power, technological strength and consistent delivery of high-quality service. The client has operations in 150 countries and services 60 of the world's 100 largest companies. Annual sales of $22 billion are generated under the client brand.
Responsibilities:
* Develops and communicates technology infrastructure architectural blueprints, and supports implementation ensuring integration with data and applications.
-Provides services for a specific business client(s) or corporate function.
-Serves as entry level infrastructure architectural advisor to IT management, their staff and clients.
-Provides technical expertise and is responsible for design and development of a computing platform environment.
-Develops strategy of the web and/or client/server systems and the infrastructure design necessary to support that strategy.
-Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
-Sets standards for the relational database structure for the organization with the Data Architecture group (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).
-Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management
